ATR — Average True Range
Measures how much a stock typically moves per day. V21 uses ATR to calculate stop loss and profit target levels that are mathematically proportional to the stock's actual volatility.
Dark Pool
Private off-exchange trading venues where large institutions execute massive orders away from public markets. Trades are eventually reported, but by then the price has often already moved. V21 monitors dark pool flow as a leading indicator.
EDGAR
The SEC's Electronic Data Gathering, Analysis, and Retrieval system. Every public company must file major disclosures here. V21 monitors EDGAR in real time for 8-K, Form 4, and Form 144 filings.
EPS — Earnings Per Share
How much profit a company earns per share of stock. A -EPS flag on the dashboard means the company reported a loss. This is a caution signal, not automatic disqualification.
Form 4
SEC filing required whenever a corporate insider (CEO, CFO, board member) buys or sells shares of their own company. Insider buying with personal funds is a strong bullish signal.
Form 144
SEC filing indicating an insider's intent to sell restricted shares in the near future. A forward-looking warning before the actual sale occurs.
Form 8-K
Real-time disclosure of a major corporate event — earnings results, mergers, CEO changes, new contracts. V21 polls for new 8-Ks every 10 minutes during market hours.
Gap Up
When a stock opens significantly higher than its prior close — usually driven by overnight news, earnings beats, or analyst upgrades. V21's pre-market scanner specifically targets gap-up candidates.
IBM Quantum / QAOA
Quantum Approximate Optimization Algorithm running on IBM Qiskit hardware. This is V21's final verification gate — no signal passes without quantum confirmation.
OBV — On-Balance Volume
A cumulative volume indicator that shows whether volume is flowing into or out of a stock. Rising OBV with rising price confirms institutional accumulation.
Options Flow
Tracking unusual options activity — large sweeps, abnormal open interest, heavy call or put buying. Smart money often positions in options before a move in the underlying stock.
Pivot Point (PP)
The central equilibrium price level for the trading day, calculated from the prior session's high, low, and close. Price above PP = bullish; below PP = bearish.
QAOA
Quantum Approximate Optimization Algorithm. The quantum computing method V21 uses for final signal verification through IBM Qiskit.
Quantum AI Analyser
V21's proprietary final verification stage. After passing through 6 intelligence layers, every signal runs through Qiskit-powered QAOA before it reaches your screen. Nothing passes without it.
R1 / R2 — Resistance Levels
Price ceilings above the pivot point where selling pressure tends to increase. R2 is a significant level — a breakout above R2 with high volume is a powerful bullish signal.
Relative Strength
Compares a stock's performance to the overall market (S&P 500). Positive relative strength means the stock is outperforming the index. V21 tracks both short-term and long-term relative strength.
Relative Volume (Rel Vol)
Today's volume compared to the 52-week daily average. 3.0x means three times as many shares trading as usual. High relative volume is one of the most reliable signals of institutional interest.
RSI — Relative Strength Index
A momentum oscillator measuring the speed and magnitude of price changes on a 0–100 scale. V21 uses RSI as one component of the technical scoring layer.
S1 / S2 — Support Levels
Price floors below the pivot point where buying pressure tends to increase. Stocks often bounce at S1 and S2. A break below S2 with volume signals a potentially significant down move.
Score (0–100)
V21's composite signal confidence rating built from all seven intelligence layers. Signals below the threshold never appear on your screen. 90–100 is highest conviction.
VWAP — Volume Weighted Average Price
The average price a stock has traded at throughout the day, weighted by volume. The most-watched intraday level by institutional traders. Price above VWAP = bullish intraday structure.
52-Week Leader
Stocks showing the strongest price momentum over the past 52 weeks relative to the market. V21 maintains a continuously updated list of 52-week leaders across all price tiers.
